Our Heretaunga wines represent the Smith & Sheth view of the Hawke’s Bay region. Somewhat like the village wines of Burgundy, our Heretaunga Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc and Syrah are sourced from growers in Bridge Pa, Mangatahi and our own Omahu vineyard in the Gimblett Gravels. These vineyards, all on gravelly soils have a long history of exceptional wines that truly represent the region’s potential.
